Water Access and Rules

Some may be aware of the new rules but for those that aren’t please have a read through of the following page. It covers everything you need to know about current access to the site.

It perhaps also goes without saying, but there are likely to be other water users floating around and respect is a 2 way street.

Water Slots

To try and avoid the water being too crowded in the week leading up to the Tully race and also let people know when they need to be pulling gates in/leaving a designated gap in the middle of the day for the gates to change places, please could paddlers/groups indicate when they’ll be looking to be on the water on any of the days.

Course Setting + Helpers

From the sheet, you’ll be able to see that the river is blocked out from 2pm on Friday to set the course for the following day. If anyone is aroud to help with setting the course at this time, feel free to just turn up on the day and I’m sure we can find something for you to do.

Lastly, as much Tully is a wonderful site in many ways, the ability to utilise bank safety is not one. As such we’re looking for a number of Water based safety to help throughout the day. Even if you can only do a single 30-45 minute slot it would be a massive hand on the day/s. If you think you’d be able to lend a hand in this area drop tully.premdiv1@gmail.com an email. Feel free to include any specific times/classes you’d be unable to do/would be looking to do in said email as well as any other info you think might be helpful
